- Roberto Soto has earned advanced communications degrees and effectively engages others who share his mission of expanding worldwide arts, information and culture utilizing media. Following 20 years as a broadcast reporter, film and television producer as well as media executive in LA, Miami, New York, San Antonio and Washington DC, Roberto Soto is now serving as a mass communication and media arts professor.
Soto is a national member of the American Film Institute, Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of TV and Radio Artists and Hollywood Foreign Press
Association as he continues to promote creative arts, while developing multi-language content.
Roberto Soto is committed to cultural and artistic expression, socio-economic, ethnic diversity, affordable and accessible education, workforce skills development through customized training and continuing education and comprehensive support services programs. This creates a hands-on approach type setting, which is conducive to communications.
Soto understands the utilization of technologies with all its bells and whistles; but says it is really about his passion for practicing the basic principles of cross cultural communications.
Additionally, linguistic ambidexterity comes naturally to him. Soto is energetic, multilingual, multicultural and is experienced working in diverse cultural settings and academic environments.
